-Labor Doulas
During labor, doulas provide close uninterrupted care of the mother. They can provide comfort with pain relief techniques, such as breathing, relaxation, massage and various laboring positions. Doulas also encourage participation from the partner and offer reassurance. A doula acts as an advocate for the mother, encouraging her in her desires for her birth. The goal of a doula is to help the mother have a positive and safe birth experience, whether the mother wants an un-medicated birth or is having a planned cesarean birth.

-Childbirth Education (classes starting this summer)
We will be offering General Childbirth Education, Childbirth Education with an emphasis on natural birth, Breastfeeding, Natural Parenting (course based on Attachment Parenting practices & philosophies), Baby wearing “Why & How To” course
Course will be offered at various locations in mid Pinellas county. Please check back for more details.

We want to help you have the birth of your dreams. We are prepared to attend hospital births, birth center births, as well as home births. We are trained to assist in natural, medicated, and cesarean births. Our Doulas also have personal experience with water births.

A Note about our Doula Services-

We want to help you and your partner have the best birth possible! We support your choices for your birth.! We happily provide support for natural, medicated, and cesarean births. As well as hospital, birth center, and home births. We are more than happy to offer information and answer your pregnancy and birth related questions. We also respect your choice of medical care provider and pledge to work along with them, as part of your birth team, for the best possible outcome to your birth.

If the doula of your choice is unexpectedly unavailable the day of your birth, we will send a back up doula. We will try to arrange a meeting with this doula, when possible, before your birth. We will never leave you with out this important support!
